Lets come straight to point -
My Verdict - Samsung Galaxy S is right now probably the best Android smartphone available in the market today.
Why?
I’ll answer with specs:
Screen - 4" Super AMOLED Capacitive - Best in Business
Processor - 1 Ghz Samsung Hummingbird - Monster:)
Internal Storage - 16 gb - add to it external SD slot - can’t ask for more. its afterall a mobile :)
OS - Android 2.2 Froyo - Superb, add to it 2.3 update coming officially in Q2
Music Output - Okay sorts bt still better than iPhone n most of the other smartphones in the market
Video - Plays almost any format. - \m/ cheers . no more conversion sorrows
Design - Only thing thats a letdown for this awesum device.
Battery Life - Good with 2.2 Update, almost 13-14 hrs with extensive music/video/gaming usage and complete 1 day with normal usage and fone calls. - no other smartphone can clam more than that.:P
Guys. Just go for this. its better than 3GS, N8, Xperia X10, Desire and even Desire HD. If you’ll say Nexus S, well that’s a fone more for the developers rather than smartphone addicts.:)
Either ways wait for GalaxyS2 launch and u can get this cheaper.:P

Tried in past 2 months -> Samsung Wave(Best of the lot and surely to be missed when the BADA Market grows), Nokia N8(was lucky not to be thrown out of my window. it’s a silly device and the OS is a big letdown), Sony Ericsson?Xperia X10(Good but how can u not have a multitouch for something like that. add to that no 2.2 update in sights).
