After all hardwork in selecting a good affordable model I narrowed it down to Sony Bravia, Samsung and LG.I gone through all manufactures website and found out that Samsung is having a LCD which comes under 19, 000 and screen size is 22 inch(which is bigger than my current 20 years old Onida!) All other models having 19inch and not having a 21- 22 inch which is perfect for my living room.
Features.
I am not going throught technical aspect but functional.This product is having a AV Input which is used for connecting the DVD Player, and DTH.or you can use the component input for the better reception of Video from the Source which should be compactible with your source(DVD, DTH) or you have one S-video socket whick can be used for connecting the DVD, PC, DTH).
ONE HDMI socket for the High definition Multimedia devices like game consoles, Blue Ray Players, HDDVD and new generation TV channels(High Def).This tv is having the SRS Surround sound but there is not use with this because the Sound out is only 3W*2 Speakers.
Remote is very easy to use and you can operate the remote without any techincal knowledge or mannuals.5000;1 contrast ration I don’t know what scrap it is but picure quality is perfect if you are watching 5 feet distance from the TV.i am using the normal Cable Tv connecting and you can’t expect s good picture quality and sound quality from the TV.But when I connected my Onida DVD player with the Tv .Picture clarrity is crisp and clear in all types of settings movie mode, sports mode.
Concerns
Most disappointment thing about this TV is not having the Audio out .You can’t connect a 5.1 home theater with this TV.Only solution for this problem is using the Stereo headphone socket as audo output and connect to the Speakers.
Other irritating thing is the All Input and out put connection are in back side of the TV that means if you plans Wall mount the TV then think twice. this will be head eche.
Final Verdict
I bought this one 3 days ago and I given only Rs 15, 800 after deducting the All christmas discounts.I am happy with this product which is well with in my pocket and giving exceptional Picture quality and normal sound quality and great looks. This suitable for people who are the first time LCD TV Users.
