Its an ok product. picture quality for sony is certainly better. I own both sony and samsung. pictures are more hazy in samsung. sound output for samsung is ok and comparable to sony but it looses handsomely in terms of colours and picture quality. do not know about other brands.
Sony and samsung are the top two brands in the lcd tv market and sony would certainly emerge as clear winner. could not buy a sony lcd tv due to heavy festive demand and had to settle down for samsung and am now regretting my decision. samsung’s service and complaint redressal is awful. company representatives do not respond properly and service centres take multiple calls for response. never go for free product against a samsung tv purchase. free product delivery could take months as in my case.
