I purchased samsung 37 inches LCD tv in year 2009, model LA37A4530. After three years the tv stopped working, and engineer said it was due to panel failure. They quoted me 29000 rs for panel replacement, after lot of arguments they said they would offer me 20 percent discount. I disagreed and threatened to go to consumer court.
Finally one day they called me and said the part is not available now, and they would offer me refund of 15000 for the tv which I purchased for 520000 rs, it was due to depreciation ..that’s what they said .. Samsung is a big cheat, they use inferior components in their televisions..cheap china and Korean components.. never buy Samsung tvs.
Don’t waste your hard earned money on Samsung tvs, they are big cheats ..Indian Govt. should drive them out for cheating Indians. I found on internet that most of the lcd panel issues are associated with Samsung lcd and led tv’s .. if you don’t believe, pls spend time on internet and find it yourself ..
