Samsung Refrigerator service team negligence

Purchase Date : 12/04/2018


With reference to the above mentioned product, complaint was raised stating "cooling problem in refrigerator" on 15/06/2024.


On 17/06/2024, Service Engineer visited my house and informed some spare parts has to be replaced and he has to order them as those spare parts will not be in stock.


He placed the order for spare parts and told approximate amount will be about Rs 4000/- to Rs 5000/-. He told one the product is available in stock he will come to replace and he told it will 2 to 3 days to get the product to stock.


On 20/06/2024, Service Engineer - Mr Thimme Gowda from ( "CANTTO INTERNATIONAL" calling themselves as SAMSUNG Authorised Service Center ) called and told that he will come to replace the new spare parts.


On 20/06/2024, at 3 PM he came to replace the spare parts. He replaced new spare parts with new spare parts and billed for Rs 4607/-. Later I noticed that he has damaged the refrigerator during this process. So I told him to remove the new spare parts and to replace the old part itself as I wanted to escalate the issue of his negligence to his office.


While removing the old spare parts, he was in urgency to complete the job at the earliest, because of his urgency or negligence he has damaged the refrigerator. Service Engineer - Mr Thimme Gowda has also agreed that because of his negligence product got damaged and he has given his acceptance of mistake in writing.


On 21/06/2024, issue was escalated to through toll free contact number and they promised that senior engineer from "CANTTO INTERNATIONAL" ( calling themselves as SAMSUNG Authorised Service Center ) will visit my residence to find a solution.

Even after several reminders to toll free number, service Engineers from "CANTTO INTERNATIONAL" calling themselves as SAMSUNG Authorised Service Center failed to come to residence to find a solution for the MISTAKE done by Service Engineer.


On 24/06/2024, again made a reminder call to toll free number.


Finally on


24/06/2024, at 1 PM Service Engineer Mr Nitesh from "CANTTO INTERNATIONAL" calling themselves as SAMSUNG Authorised Service Center visited my residence to find a solution. But Mr Nitesh did not had any solution for the problem.


As a customer, I started suffering because of "SAMSUNG" and "CANTTO INTERNATIONAL" calling themselves as SAMSUNG Authorised Service Center for more than 7 days by expecting solution from the company or from the service center.


Sorry to convey, Samsung company is losing their credibility by trusting these service center who are so unprofessional in their work.


Today it is already 26/06/2024, from the past 10 days I am suffering just because of SAMSUNG and their service centers for not resolving the issue.


Professionals from "CANTTO INTERNATIONAL" calling themselves as SAMSUNG Authorised Service Center are not taking any responsibility to resolve the problem which happened just because of the negligence from the service Engineer while replacing the spare parts. They are easily trying to wash out their hands and asking me to contact Samsung for solution.


I am expecting proper resolution for the problem created by Samsung.
