I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration regarding the mishandling of my Samsung 700 litres refrigerator(Model No. RS72R5011SL, Serial No. 0U2C4ADM700919B), purchased on 9th October 2019 from Reliance Retail Limited, Vaishali, for ₹70, 990/-.
In May 2024, my refrigerator began experiencing cooling issues. Initially, Rashid visited, and later a senior engineer replaced the compressor(under warranty) and the cooling coil(costing ₹4200/-). Within a week, the refrigerator started overcooling, leaking water, and icing up.
Despite numerous calls and complaints, the issue persisted. Engineers Rashid, Irfaan, and Irshaad visited multiple times. Irshaad suggested turning off the fridge for 7 hours, which didnt work. During Irfaan’s visit, he mishandled the refrigerator, causing internal body damage that wasnt present before.
To my utter surprise, Rahul called today to inform me that Samsung would offer a 20% depreciated value and take away my fridge. When I questioned him about what I would do without a fridge, his response was indifferent and unhelpful. This is unacceptable, especially given the mishandling and poor service provided by Samsung engineers. My refrigerators internal body was intact before Irfaan’s visit, and the damage is a direct result of improper handling.
As a loyal Samsung customer I am appalled by this treatment. The internal body damage was due to your engineers mishandling, and I demand an immediate repair or replacement.
This experience has severely tarnished my perception of Samsung. I will not recommend Samsung to anyone and will avoid future business with the brand. This experience has been pathetic and has shaken my trust in Samsungs commitment to quality and customer service.
