Harassment at hands of Samsung

I purchased a samsung LCD TV 2 years back. It started giving me problems as soon as the 1 year warranty expired. After several expensive repairs, the display once again failed.


The Samsung repairer in Pathankot  informed me that the PCB (I guess the mother/circuit board) has stopped working.


After  many weeks I came to know that Samsung has stopped manufacturing the requisite spare part & I was eligible for a refund after depreciation.


My misery continues. I have been trying for over two months to get the refund but I am entangled in a whirlpool of red tape.


The dealer asked me to call the call centre. The call centre is always polite & reassuring me that I will get a call back in two hours.


However till date I have been called back only once. I have called the call centre over half a dozen times. I tried calling the dealer many times but he tells me that nothing can happen until the call centre takes action.


As of now I am so frustrated that I have taken down the TV from my wall because it reminds me of Samsung.


My advice to everyone: Do not buy from Samsung. Buy a cheap brand or buy the most expensive brand. Do not get stuck in the middle with Samsung.
