I had been previously using Sony Ericsson K750i and then Motorola Rokr E6. K750i was my favourite cause I loved the 2MP camera, Awesome music with very good bass(if inear headphones are used) etc. Unfortunately I had lost it.
Was looking for a budget phone in the 5000 Rs. range. Came across Samsug S3310. I fell for its thin sleek(KISS - Keep It SIMPLE look).
*I liked
1. 5.3 cms decent resolution screen
2. **2MP camera is decent with video recording capability
- Bluetooth with A2DP support(Music can be played on phone, transmitted through bluetooth and listened on bluetooth stereo headset). I had Motorola Bluetooth stereo headset which I got with ROKR. I had a bad experience because ROKR bluetooth transmission gets interrupted when I put the phone in the pocket etc.
But in the case of S3310 it was very clear and with no interuptions.
The sound output is excellent with decent bass almost close to Sony ericsson walkman phones. Samsung provides inear headphones with the phone, but these headphones are not in par with sony inear headphones. However offer decent sound.
*Memory support upto 8GB
Excellent video playback. Video converter software comes with Samsung PC suite software.
Excellent battery backup.*
*8. Decent themes, one of them changes color with day and night(tajmahal in daytime and night time). Its a simple thought but very nice.
Slim phone and fits any pocket(price too is just 4900)
Other features like, PC sync for contacts, calendar etc.
Java MIDP 2.0 support
I didnt like
Managing playlists is a little difficult.
Although java MIDP2.0 is supported installing jad(java games) directly isnot possible.*
UPDATED 21 DECEMEBER
