Mother Board Problems

I bought this mobile on July 27th 2010 for 9k.  Mobile was not even a month old, I started having problem with this phone.  All of sudden, it started showing that Mobile was connected to System through USB and none of the phone features were working.  All I can do is that, just attending the incoming calls and knowing that I have got some incoming messages (Not even able to read the message).  I tried restarting the phone, but it still shows the same status.  Then I removed the battery and then it started working fine till I put the phone for charging.  Then I started getting the same problem again  and again.  And huge disappointment was that, even when I tried removing battery and still showing the Status that connected to Virtual PC.


After all these problems, I gave the phone for samsung service center and their response was that problem with the mother board (Manufacturing Defect).  It seems they need 15 working days to get the replacement mother board.  So they wont even replace this manufacturing defect mobile with new one.  Though they says that replacing a mother board is equivalent to a replacing with a new phone.  I am still wondering when I will be getting my phone back.  Please be aware that samsung service is worst possible service you would ever get back from any company.


Even I tried reaching to 1-800 service number and still no response back from them.  My advice is that, even if you have old phone working 10%, Please stick to that rather than buying samsung phones.  I am not saying all product is 100%, but still you need to accept your fault and give the replacement one at least.  I am writing this review after really fed-up with Samsung Phone and their service.
