It’s been a couple of months since I bought this phone, it’s amazing and am satisfied with it as it is a complete value for money. Initially I was trying to sync the contacts and calendar with Facebook and didn’t work, but yesterday around 1200hrs it finally came up and is working perfectly fine since then(think Samsung might have sorted out the issue or whatever the case may be it has finally started working).the camera’s good and so are the games that can be downloaded from the Samsung apps site(although they are still coming up)Worth Buying!
Now if we have to give a breakup of everything in here:1: Messages: the sms can be viewed in 2 forms, in the normal form as in all other forms and in the conversation form(like we see all the messages from 1 contact in one window, much like in a chat window) and has a capacity of more than 1000 sms(which is a lot)
2: Contacts: the contacts have a lot of fields that can be updates(from the person’s family details to address and what not), After getting it synced with Facebook(which I use) it shows up the persons Facebook pic in the contacts and his/her Facebook snaps.
3: Fake Call: has this feature in which you can activate(by doing so you will actually receive a call from which ever no you have added in it, would show up on your screen, you can also record so that it plays when you receive the FAKE CALL and make a escape from the much needed meeting or lecture:)
4: Photos: a wonderful camera(5MP) with digital zoom and good clarity and does away with the need to carry a camera separately with you.
5: Touch: is wonderful with a good response
6: Music: is of good quality, though the speaker volume is not comparable to those of the Chinese make, but is good enough and when plugged into the earphone is beyond any comment, has a lot of equalizers to choose from or can run it on auto and let the player choose it for you, also has a feature of 5:1, which enables the surround sound(awesome)
7:FM: has an option of recording any song that you want(space is no problem comes in with a built-in memory of 2 GB and a card of 2 GB.
8:Games: has certain games in-built and the rest can be downloaded from the Samsung website(motion sensor games included)
9: Widgets: a one touch access to any application you want from the homepage and no need to go to the menu page(be it Google maps or your mails or Facebook or anything that you want)
10: Emails: you can add any email account of yours and access your mails on the move.
11:== Diary==: a wonderful feature where in you can add your photos and create a diary out of it(date wise)
It has all the other features as well that a normal phone is deemed necessary to have, (didn’t mention them, just doing the ones which are wonderful)
Although currently the Samsung website doesn’t host a lot of themes, wallpapers, utilities and widgets, they can be downloaded from mysamsungwave.com(a forum of wave users with a lot of useful stuff)
All in all if you are thinking of buying a new phone go for it with no questions asked(my opinion, although you must also research well before investing)
