I am writing my experience with this phone since my friend owns it & we have done 2 weeks of hands on, research about this killer phone.
If you are not a geek of android , then this is the best phone available in the market right now.. Grab it
Pros
-Feels sturdy, superb build quality , Justifies its price by the feel of the phone in your hand
-Superb Display (SLCD)
-Great touch response
-Phone is very sleek & grey color looks great
-Large display with brilliant colors, anybody seeing your phone is sure to get jealous
-BADA OS looks very polished, User friendly & has all the features android has except fame!
-Video & sound quality are good, like any other samsung smartphone
Cons
-I think some video formats are not supported by default , but codecs should be available in bada store
-BADA app store is growing but may not come near good apps in android market since OS is not open source
- Didnt find anything else !!!
Conclusion:
Samsung has built a super mobile in terms of hardware, display, user friendly & great touch exp. Highly recommended if you dont care about getting in to maze of updating to new version of OS, trying new apps . It can be a great gifting option too since it looks & performs great.
Note : My research made me realize that all android phones under 20 k have a poor build quality, outdated qvga screens, recycled plastics, prone to scratches, feels cheap since manufactures have to give a higher margin of share to Google & this is the only way they can operate profitably. This may be the reason, Samsung has developed BADA & Nokia is not going for android. Greater than 20k phones are good, but too steep a price to pay for which will surely get outdated within 6 months.
Thanks
