The first thing that strikes you about the Samsung C100 is the beautiful silvery finish and the curvy looks. Add to that the ultra-slim form feature and you get a stunning package. When you see the great 65k colour screen you sigh and think to yourself that it must cost a fortune and you wish you could afford it. But wait, hell, did you even bother to find out the price? It will really, really surprise you and I mean pleasantly!!! The Samsung C100 is a real winner and is all set to capture a major share of the mid-segment cellphone market.
It even has a infra-red port and GPRS along with Java and polyphonic ringtones. In short, the works!!! The only rival it has in terms of pricing is the Sony Ericsson T310 but the display of the T310 is nowhere near the stunning clarity of the C100 from Samsung. The only area in which the T310 scores over Samsung C100 is that its triband whereas the C100 is dualband. But hell, who needs a triband phone anyways? The C100 is a real neat package and I would advise anyone going in for a new phone to have a look at this beauty before making their purchase decision. The ringtones are loud and clear unlike some of the polyphonic cellphones in the market which you can hardly hear when they are in your pocket.
the only area where it lacks is that you cannot add words to the dictionary for messaging.
