I was doing a great research on mobiles for the past last one month to skip out my old stupid sony ericsson t105 (ultimate worst model award can be given to this). I looked for camera with fm model within a price range of rs.8000. after a lotz and lot of research, I cant find any model. even nokia 6610i was not upto my mark. so , I settled for color with fm model. finally, before me , it was nokia 6030 and samsung c230.
I could not come to a conclusion and I visited the nearby mobile showroom in chennai. samsung c230 and nokia 6030 was before me. on my first look itself, samsung c230 caught my heart. even my friend, who suggest me for nokia was very impressed by the look of samsung mobile.
letz start with the features, pros and cons
Features
amazing 65k colors. even the nokia 6610i doesnt come with such bright colors.
mind blowing polyphonic tone, particularly the hello tone.
metallic black panel.
easy keypad. I have suffered very much with nokia 2300 keypad. comparing to that it z a cool breeze.
it z definitely user friendly menu as nokia mobiles.
other features includes gprs, mms, gps and blah..blah..all are technical terms. definitely I dont need such things.
pros
all the above features can be considered as pros for samsung c230. kudos to samsung.
cons
now, there are very few cons in this mobile too.
fm radio- which is a added feature. the reception is little bit noisy. you have to turn your mobile for better reception. headphones, which comes with that , act as antenna. but u cannot change the fm channel by the button in headphone.
that z the only feature fm radio users prefers. samsung manufactures - please alter this.
while u connect it through headphone, u cannot hear the ringtone in the headphone, when there is a incoming call. you have to use vibrator , else u could miss ur girl friend call while u listen to fm radio channels.
no bluetooth technology - you can share wallpapers, ringtones with ur friends mobile if you mobile got bluetooth technology
final word : dont look for nokia with a mindset that nokia will be user friendly. this mobile too is userfriendly and when compared to other mobiles. if u want color mobile with fm radio, dont go anywhere. just visit your nearest samsung dealer and get a brand new samsung c230.
