I had bought a samsung sgh230. But I am not able to connect it to the Pc through infrared port. I have tried a number of irda adapter of different companies but of no vail. When for the first time I active the ir of the phone then the Pc detects the phone and install the driver for ’’standard modem over IR link’ and just stops there, Under the modem it shows the modem of Ir but if status shows ’’Not present’’even if my phone is placed straight to the IR adapter, Neither it shows the IR icon on the system tray, Now I am using MA-620 irda adapter and it shows the irda device as ’’WW WW-600 USB Infrared Adapter. I m sure the iR adapter I am using is working properly. does it not support the phone or the modem driver?Can any one tell me whats exactly the problem is?
