Well guys, This is my phone and I been using it for almost 2 years. I got it from my dad who had also been using it for some time! So I wanna devote a review to this buddy of mine!....... This is THE (oh that may be too much!).. ONE OF THE best Samsung phones in its generation! (applause!!).......
Ok Jokes apart, let me rip the product apart for u to see....
LIKE:
1) Sweet polyphonic sound - one of the best till date. This phone has Yamaha sound technology, these days those dudes at Samsung dont have it anymore; so nowadays that quality is missing.
2) Very durable and sturdy... I had been to an AR rahman concert in Blore recently and all the 3 1/2 hours, this phone was soaked in water! I did not have ANY dry place to hide it was drenched in water continuously for this period. Been 3 months now... Going good as ever.
3) Good reception... Has an antenna and has reception in many places that others dont. I mean comparatively reception is good.
4) User friendly... Well u may disagree, but isnt always the phone we use, more user-friendly than any others we try to handle?! (try typing a message on ur friends phone...)
DISLIKE (in the order that pisses me off...!)
1) Has voice commands and voice dial... But the phone does not like taking COMMANDS and hence does what it likes!
2) Cant edit any messages I receive...
3) Does not support flashy forwards....
4) Only memory for 20 SMS.
5) Not a hip model these days... Almost like a vintage car, but those who love it love it!
So that’s it all clean and fair on the table. I am sure no one will read this review to buy this phone as its no longer in the shops ( u missed the train buddy.. and NO... I wont sell mine!), but I felt like dedicating a review for my Saathi... till death do any one of us apart... or maybe someone gifts me a new phone before that!
