Samsung - A Trusted name

It took a very long time for me to decide to have a mobile. Earlier I was of the opinion that the mobile is more of a status symbol than a necessity but now with the fast movement of life, sharply decreasing the prices of handsets and also decrease in tariff by different service provide, I also decided to purchase the handset for my wife who is a school teacher.

Dealer showed us various models in budget range of nokia, samsung, motorola make. All of my friends had suggested me before going to the dealer to go for NOKIA only as their handsets are quite good but when the dealer showed me NOKIA 3310, NOKIA 1100 and Samsung R220, I could not stop my self to choose the samsung product.

Though Nokia models were also good but the stylish look of Samsung was better than other products. It costs me Rs. 3350/- plus Rs. 200/- for activitation from BSNL (Prepaid). Infact, activitation actually charged was Rs. 150/- as after activitation I got Rs. 50/- talktime for a period of seven days.

I must say that Samsung R220 has many unique features which other models doesn’t have like it’s stylish look, its bigger blue screen, its blinking light on the left hand upper corner, a small antenna, its soft keys, a watch on the screen when you are not using the phone, scheduler, alarm, inbuilt ringtones etc. etc.

I am quite satisfied with my purchase decision but I am facing a little bit problem with the sound of its ringtones. If I compare a ringtone in this model with NOKIA 3310, its sound is not very loud as compared to NOKIA model.
