First of all I should say that I use my cell phone mostly for making and receiving calls. I have not really caught on the wave of SMS messaging, internet on phone and other stuff. If you are like me you will like this phone. It looks sleek, is very very small and fits well in my pants pocket. Battery life is good (lasts minimum 4 days).
I suspect it is also good for SMS and web surfing but I dont do it much. Web surfing on phone is expensive man! The ringtones are not that good but you can get loads of them free if you know where to look. One drawback is that there is no external called ID screen. SO you have to open the phone to know who is calling you. There were some problems with the old version of software for this phone. But I think thats past now. I got mine with the new version that is good.
By the way I am using it on At&t, they call this model X426.
Here is the biggest tip-Buy this or any other phone from Amazon. You not only get it free, you get an additional 150 Dollars back!. Thats right, you get paid for buying this phone, and that too with a 1 year AT&t contract!
I spent some time researching for my phone and found this the best deal but only if you buy from Amazon.
Dont buy the T-mobile plan, they have lot of reception problems unless you live in Manhattan and never venture out.
Verizon quality is good but they dont sell on Amazon! Well, thats their problem, At&t is equally good.
