Samsung Star S5233

This is my first review for any product, so will keep it short.

1. I got this mobile one month back(end of jun09) at a good dealer near my home

   
   




2. Very impressive phone for the amount you pay. The following are really good:

   
   

a) Very good battery backup. for normal usage, the battery stays for almost 3 days(there was still one point left)

b) Very good sound quality compared to other samsung mobile

c) Good camera but lack of flash is annoying sometime.

d) Excellent touch sensitivity - of course it cannot match that of iphone but look at the price.

1. The worst thing is that the phone is fragile. my phone slipped from my hand while taking from the pouch. The phone fell on a carpeted floor from a height of about 30cm and you know what, the LCD broke.I had to shell out Rs. 1995/-+ other charges to get it fixed. Of course it was my mistake but falling from a distance of just 30cm or so and the lcd screen breaking is bit too much to digest. Of course the touchscreen was not broken and was working.

So anyone who is buying this phone, please be very CAREFUL in handling it!
