I purchased a samsung syncmaster 2033sw 20" LCD monitor with a optimum resolution of 1600 x 900 dpi. It is having both VGA & DVI-D port. My system mother board is Intel DG41TY, which is having DVI-D port. When I am connecting the monitor through VGA it is working fine at 1600 x 900 dpi. But when the monitor is connected through DVI-D it working only at 1440 x 900 dpi. When the resolution is set to 1600 x 900 dpi, the monitor starts flikering and image disappered.
I made a complaint with samsung and the service desk at Bangalore given the solution. The solution given by the M/s Samsung satisfied me. But only thing I wanted mention here is that the time taken by M/s. Samsung to give the solution is little bit more. This is the only crucial point they need to improve, otherwise the after sales service is good.
