TFT is the way to go.
Everyday Samsung is getting to be a most trustable name out there.
In my opinion Samsung is becoming like Sony of’80s and’90s.
I bought this monitor on 3 nov 2006 for Rs. 11, 300.
(It has been 8 months
and rupee has appreciated almost 10%,
you should be looking at atleast 15% lesser price tag)
I have no complaints about this monitor.
It is pretty sleek.
Couple months back I bought a Acer 17" TFT monitor for my son for Rs. 8700.
It is not just the price. In my opinion Acer 17" TFT good value for money.
Images looks lot smoother on Acer.
One more thing for you consider before buying this monitor is,
It is better to get a TFT monitor with speaker.(Compaq has it)
Having speaker in the monitor would reduce some clutter and
extra wires running around.
