But real user exprience of mine is its a terific mobile for net surfing with GPRS/EDGE/3G, HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) 7.2 mbps. Imaging facilities are also good 5MP camera, auto focus, smile detection, anti shake, and other useful facilities like a digi cam. But picture quality is not so great as nokia 5mp cameras and its flash is not great as nokia. Front camera for video calling is also ok. Sound quality is not excellent but very good through earphone. U can enjoy crystal clear sound but volume is not so loud and bass is missing littlebit (i am used to listen songs through my big headset with laptop.......therefore may be I m wrong).
But if u like to hear songs without earphone, then its useless. its has only one speaker for earpiece and loud speaker. Earpiece volume while conversation is excellent. Battery life is also good.
But this is a lifestyle mobile and this is a perfect cell when style and looks matters.
U have to take care of it...............bcoz it scratches easily and becoz of metalic steel body it can slip from hand.........compamy provied a stylish leather cover attached with back cover (not a full cover).
During call screen locks automatically which is a good feature.......but when u like to swich on speaker phone during call.....u have to press central button for unlock the screen, then touch the speak phone icon..... then u have to confirm again by pressing yes option for turn on speaker......i think its very boring method for turn on speaker............
while scrolling call register when stop scrolling it shows automatically details of specific call, ie name and number, date time, (then from option menu u can see call duration and more details)..................which covers almost all the menu and quite irretating........we should view the call detail manually when we want .............everytime call details in big big letter...... no need at call register........if u have hurry for finding something from call register its not easy............u can use side volume keys to scrool ....but have to press eachtime.........
it has a side pop up window (dont know how to explain) which contains some shortcuts...........u can drag specific icon to screen for viewing...........and again drag that icon to pop up bar for hide it........pop up bar plays hide and seek with one touch.............u can also hide the network provide name to pop up bar.......which enhances the full looks of the screen ....................it has no themes, only u can set wallpaper...............
u can download java applications, although not so friendly for use those applications.
Phone memory 240 mb, expandable memory micro chip slot supports 8 gb.
No full keyboard like nokia 7710 touch cell.
security option is very high, you can protect phone book, messages, phone memory, card memory etc and mobile tracker is also a advantage like other samsung cells.
I will back with other facts (I think nothing left, if I found some other fact.....I will be back). Thanks for your precious time for reading my review.
Updated on 19/12/08- it has no call recording facility. I have downloaded some good 3rd party java applications from https://getjar.com or wap.getjar.comI have downloaded through wap site. But faced problem while I transfer those applications from computer to cell.
All the downloaded softwares store in game folder.
