Although this is my first washing machine - I have used Godrej, IFB(front loading) & Whirpool WM in the past at relatives/friends’ place(most recent being the Whirlpool 1-2-3 model). As compared to Whirlpool, this machine is miles ahead - it is more silent, the drum doesn’t make much side movement at all(in case of the Whirpool machine, we had to keep a constant lookout, in case the drum started knocking the sides).
Ignoring the Silver Wash technology, etc, which are basically just marketing jargons to sell the product, the main aspect is the engine & drum. This machine scores full marks in that area.
I bought this model 4 months back at 12.5k(current MRP states 13.5-14k across different shops) - BARGAIN. Try to get discounts from the shop. For junta in Pune - do try out Radhika Electronics(Pimpri) & Maharashtra Electronics(Laxmi Road). You get excellent discounts at these shops.(I bought mine at Radhika).
As for after sales service, I have only experienced them when they came for the demo setup once I bought the machine. The engineer was prompt on time & very helpful. Hoping their service later on stays as good.
