Service after sales

SAMSUNG washing machine with product code WMWA 88 TPK fully auto PAO 1201 was purchased by me on 02.03.2008. at NEXT RETAIL SHOP Vijayawada , krishna dt/. A.p. India .We are only 4 members in our family. The usage is very minimal. we use it with utmost care.


In spite of that it is failed on 21.02.09.A complaint registered with customere care . Got a complaint number as aknowledgement 8407307082. Same day a mechanic came and said some part is to be changed which was not available in Vijayawada, so that it takes 4 to 5 days to get it and repair it. To day the date is 03.03.2009. Almost 10 days gone waiting for the mechanic. No body came. At least there is no followup communication about how long it takes to get it repaired. This is the status of service I got it from SAMSUNG.


While purchasing this product I asked the shop staff about the service rendered by this company. They told it is available in local i.e., in Vijayawada itself and promissed best and prompt service after sales compared to other products in which they are dealing in their shop. The mechanic told the part which is supposed to replace is not available in Vijayawada and should get it from somewhere else. For your information , I asked him why a city which is populated more than 10 laks i.e., Vijayawada could not be arranged spare parts by the commpany for servicing the machines after sales. No reply from the servicing person.


My dear citizens, beware of the companies which are not rendering proper service to the customers after sales. And I request u to send me is there any other go to come out of this problem. Do anybody help and give me the mail id of an ambudsman to appeal against this irregular practice of our SAMSUNG company service?
