Bought this phone in August 2011 as a birthday gift for my sister. Had done some research and this phone looked good. Loaded with features, this smartphone comes at an attractive price(Rs. 6200). Bought it at spice hotspot. Good touchscreen and bright display. Nice camera . Many advanced features and good battery life. The reception also seemed ok.
I was confused whether to buy an android phone or samsung bada based one but decided to test this one.
However the phone has been giving trouble ever since I bought it. Within a month of use it started switching off. Took 3 days to get this rectified and now a new problem - the audio jack has stopped working. The phone is still at service centre and I am wondering whther I made a good decision to go with this phone. This is my second bad experience with Samsung. I bought Samsung Duos for my mother around an year back and that too had similar problems.
Also Samsung apps are not as comprehensive as android based one, so that’s another worry.
Pros- Good, bright display, responsive touchscreen, good camera, price
Cons - Unreliable Quality, No 3G, limited apps,
