I’ve bought this model of Samsung in September-04, worth 6400 /- , as current price is around 5000 /-. Now let me write my own experience with this mobile in last 8 months.
After 2-3 months of nice response, it started hanging every day atleast twice. This was ok, as it might be software problem. Then after one strange problem I was facing, that was, it shows a different caller name while the caller is different. Means, again a software problem.
There are lots of bugs in the software installed in this Model. The handset is so delicate, that from 1 ft height if it falls on ground, it splits in two portion. i.e. it’s battery gets separated from body. Just try it out.
And lastly , since last one month it is not working in silent mode. Till now I haven’t got solution, might be possible that vibrator is faulty. But whatever, my experience with samsung is always worst.
So, if any one wants to go for this model just thing twice. As don’t go only on looks, style, polyphonic ring tones. This are secondary things, mainly concentrate on the durability and maintenance.
