This is the first opinion I have written on this site so youll have to cut me a little slack. About 2 weeks ago I bought a device called an MP3 Player. I had beed recomended to the product by a friend with a player and I already had somne MP3s on my computer. I am still astounded at the quality of the product I had purchased.
The Samsung Yepp Hip-Hop is one of the lightest and most compact digital audio players around--it weighs only 1.7 ounces without batteries and measures 2.4 by 3.3 by 1 inch. It has 64 MB of internal memory as well as a SmartMedia memory card slot, enabling you to double its storage to 128 MB (thats if you put in a 64 MB Smartcard). The Yepp Hip-Hop plays only MP3 files.
Though theres no LCD display, the Hip-Hop has control buttons for play/pause/power on, stop/power off, volume, reverse, and forward. The reverse and forward controls can move from song to song, or backward or forward through a song. There is also an eject control button for the Smartcard.
The included remote control features an LCD screen that shows track number and length of song as well as the same controls found on the player. Additionally, the remote control has controls for setting four equalizer presets (classic, jazz, rock, and normal), four repeat modes (current track, all tracks, random play, and the initial 10 seconds of saved songs), and a hold function. The Hip-Hops stereo earbuds (included) also connect through the remote control, or they can connect to the player when the remote control isnt used.
MP3 files are downloaded to the Yepp Hip-Hop from a Windows PC using the Yepp Explorer software. A copy of RealJukebox is also included, which enables you to create MP3 files from your CDs.
I hope you find this opinion helpful and as I said I would recomend this as a good mp3 player for a novice (not to complicated)!!
