I have been using Samtron 55v for almost 3.5 years. It is a 15 inch monitor. I have never had any problem with it. It gives the most clear and flicker free images. I usually run it in 800X600@75Mhz mode even though it has a 1024x768@60 Maximum Resolution. I use it on a intel 815 board with integrated 815 graphics controller to give very good performance. About 3.5 years back I bought it for about Rs 8000/- but now it is available for a lot less (around Rs4500).
The only cons for this monitor could be its 1024x768@60 Maximum Resolution since the current cards support even higher resolutions. but still in my opinion 600X800 is the best resolution for a 15inch monitor.
