To be honest I never had any expectations from the film cause the trailer, the promos did not seemed to me promising at all and I guessed it right; The film is full.of cliche and Plotholes.
The story is about Akash( Pulkit Samrat) and his Love( Yami Gautam) since childhood. How they seperated and again Get together, how the various phases of life tried to bring them closer and how in the end they stayed together. That’s what’s it all about! The character of Miss Pablo( Urvashi Rautela) had limitless oppurtunies to bring out a great performance and do justice to the Plot. But for the sake of Pulkit and Yami, her character is been wasted at all. She’s just there like a Eye-Candy and an extra unnecessary character of the Plot!
The film has so many flaws, continuty errors but all of those could have been ignored if the story itself was executed properly and by Properly I mean executed with Emotions that lacked very much in this!
None of the cast memebers gave us a memorable performance nor any emotional ones. Dialogues were nice and warming but delivered so Soullessly! Scenaries are beautiful that’s the first of the TWO things I actually liked about the film that Ms. Divya( Director) shot the outdoor scenes beautifully! It’s a pleasure to witness the Beautyness of all the locations on the BIG SCREEN! Music is great too( Kya Tujhe Ab Yeh Dil Bataye & Sanam Re is my Favorite ones) .
But the Performances, Screenplay, Bad Dialogue Deliveries made it so awful to watch. It could not generate the emotions It should have! And the character developement is so bad that we couldn’t relate to the characters so we can’t feel their Love, Sorrow or any other emotions and if we can’t feel their emotions their expressions how we suppose to appreciate their performances!?
In the end I would say, It’s one of the Failed Attempt to bring out a Romantic, Intense Love Story. I can’t recommend it, there are lot better films than this; Go WATCH those. But if you really want to see this, Then don’t expect much! Or else you will be utterly disappointed in the end!
