Sanam Teri Kasam, this movie is perfect satire of traditionalism, perfect love story, a surprising role of police, conflict between two generation, realization of fault and heart touchable romance with great emotions. In the story "Saraswati Parasarthi" the heroine belong to a typical Brahman family. For her father nothing was more precious than his reputation. Her family is the example of Indian patriarchy that very design of the family member’s life was made by the male.
inder, the story hero is totally opposite to heroine. One side heroine is representing the traditionalism so on the opposite site, hero is representing modernism. At the beginning of the story, we witness that he is a criminal and has live in relation with his girlfriend. He hate his father because he refused to take the case of his own son.
The Plot shows that conflicts of generation gap. One-side there is the generation of fathers who wants to hold their tradition, culture and ideologies so then other-side the generation of sons/daughter who want to modernize. the heroine Saraswati is a simple shy, and traditional brahmin girl, in modern term "behan ji".
