This movie is outright boring and will give you a headache( and I’m being lenient) . There is nothing special about the script. It starts with a flashback where the lead actress works in a library. Her strict father wants a well educated and successful groom for her, but she gets rejected again and again due to her( in her own words)’aunty-kinda’ looks. Her younger sister gets worked up about this as her own marriage is in a fix as she can’t get married before her older sister. Sad for her sister, Mawra( lead actress) decides to go for a make-over. She has a neighbour( Harshwardhan Rane) whom her father hates and who already has a girlfriend. What happens next is some confusions and misunderstandings that leads to the father disowning her daughter and Rane falling in love with her a while later. What happens in the end is for you to see( Spoiler: She dies!: -p) .
The lead pair are debutants in Bollywood, though Harshwardhan has made a name in the south and Mawra is an established Pakistani model. Vijay Raaz is always a treat to watch( he’s only in a cameo here) . The only high point of the movie is its music. Himesh has done an excellent job. Cinematography is good too. The movie overall is too lengthy, and it’s second half is unbearable. I would not recommend it at all. Watch it at your own risk.
