This is Ganesh Karanth. I am one of those guys who work in IT industry without any other options left and dream about becoming a playback singer. Music is my passion.
I had learnt carnatic music for 4.5 years. Then I had stopped learning music due to studies. Quiting music for almost 7 years was a very bad mistake of my life.
After coming to bangalore I decided to start my hindustani music journey. But this time no going back. I was looking for a perfect guru who knows each and everything about the music. A guru who can teach from the basics.
After one month of research I found "Sangeet Sadhana" music Institute. Now Sangeet Sadhana is my second home. Every Saturday and Sunday I come here and learn hindustani classical music. From past 9 months I am learning hindustani classical music from my gurus/mentors smt Anindita Mukherjee and shri Reetesh Nayak. After joining Sangeet Sadhana I really got to know where exactly I stand as a singer. Don’t know whether I will become a playback singer or not but I am definitely improving myself as a singer. This improvement in me is happening only because of Sangeet Sadhana.
I am eagerly excited about the Sangeet Sadhana Varshik Mahotsav. I feel proud to be the part of SSVM. We have been continuously doing the practice for the concert with the guidance of our gurus. Personally I am very much excited to see our guest the legendary bhansuri player Shri Praveen Ghodkhindi sir.
