Well we were on our way to Yelagiri(from Chrompet via Porur to NH4 & AH46), so we started our journey by 8 am and by the way we reached Nandambakkam, it was about 8:30 am and so we decided to take our breakfast here.
This is the first time we were visiting this Sangeetha restaurant. I have already visited Adyar and velachery branches.
So as soon as we reached there, the security immediately assisted us in parking out sedan. The sedan was made parking on a very safe place, definitely on the the busy road.
Then we entered the A/C arena of the hotel and found the hotel almost deserted. There were only about 2 families having their food at that time, they probably were also the Travellers. Then we took an randon Table and ordered the food.
The Food ordered was - Masala Dosas, podi Oothapam and Pongal.
And all of these were served pretty hot and very quickly. Just in less than 10 minutes I guess. So then finished our food and left the restaurant in less than 30 minutes flat.
The food there was so Tasty and yummy. Infact my couldn’t stop praising the food she had and was mentioning about the experience the whole trip. The Dosa’s ghee smell stayed in our palms for the whole day.
Here are the pros and cons of this Sangeetha -
PROS -
1) Restaurant is pretty big I would say. Has both AC and non AC dine rooms. Each can accommodate over 20 families I guess.
2) Food taste and quality is the highlight of this restaurant. Thick masala Dosas. Moderate Podi on Dosas and Very Taste Food. Extra Sambars provided when requested.
Infact on the second order after Masala Dosa, we ordered one Podi Oothapam for two of us(me and mom sharing it). But since one Plate, my mom told the server to not to take away the previous plate(used to masala dosa). But instead they offered an extra plate. That means two plates for one oothapam. That service was awesome here.
3) The Restaurant has clean restrooms.
4) The Restaurant also has private parking for both bikes and cars. And extra cars parked on the main road will the taken care by the security.! Parking assistance is also great.
5) Food pricing is very nominal. Just the same as other Sangeetha restaurant. But extra price can also be offered to them for the hospitality they provide.
6) servers are really very helpful and polite. They are quick in service as well.
CONS -
I noticed nothing as of now. But the good experience was because the AC dine was empty at that time. So the service quality might change when the hotel is crowded.
Also the Non AC dine arena looked little ugly and low quality. But I had no experience there, so I can’t comment on that.
The restaurant also had a sweet and snack section with variety of item offered for sales, including Chocolates and icecreams.
VERDICT -
An another full Vegetarian yummy food offered here after HSB and Adyar Sangeetha. Real loved this restaurant. Highly recommended.
