Let me tell this is the one of the best national park in Mumbai City and it is located in core of the Mumbai City.Here the animals are not caged*Smiling while writing* and you can see the animals like fox, deer, Beautiful birds.When I was travelling through the park I saw the group of deer roaming in inside locality(Picture Provided).
Accessibility-It is located in the core Mumbai City you can go through train and by road(Train is cheaper if you leave away from Mumbai) and for roaming inside the National park you can take your bike or car there OR you can hire a Bicycle(INR 30 for 1 hour) OR by toy train which will cost you Money around 20-30 INR
Local Sightseeing-Just roaming in the national park is one of the most enjoyable moment you can visit CANARI CAVES which is the caves from Buddhas Time they are made of Black Rock and the Buddhas Statues are still there Which was hand carved.You can reach Canari Caves through bus which is provided by National park.(INR 30/person)
Hotels/Accomodations-You can cover all the sights in one day but still you want to live there the wooden Homes ara available there with Proper Facilities
Safety-Safety is big concern there as the animals are not caged therefore you can encounter any wild animal at any time like we encountered deer’s.Many news have been heard about Leopards attact on Vilaagers who reside inside the National Park.Therefore Police van always patroling around the park.
How to Reach there-Land on BOrivali Railway Station and take Taxi or Rickshaw(Thre wheeler) or By walk.
