I would like to highlight a few points regarding the confusion that seems to be there regarding Accent\Viva models. A few months back I had called both Sanjay and Kothari and came to know that Accent has been discontinued.
Today, I visited the Kothari showroom and was surprised to see an Accent GLE on display! To confirm whether the company has started production on Accent again, I then went to Sanjay. The sales folks at Sanjay told me that they have no such notification from Hyundai about the Accent being re-launched! They however do have the Accent CRDi version (which Kothari does not).
Can someone tell me what’s going on here? Has the company really stopped Accent\Viva production? I see no such informaton on the official Hyundai web site. In that case, why is there discrepancy in what the dealers say (and that too in the same city)??
