Sankalp restaurant is a pure veg authentic south indian restaurent located in mahavir nagar, kandivali west being The sole reason for my visit there.
I decided to visit this place as I wanted to dig my teeth into dosa’ s and mendu vada’s. So visited this place in weekdays .
Talking about the decor and ambience: the decor was minimal or none. The place was clean and span and this is how I like it . The crowd too was minimal and searching for table was not a big deal .
The food:
I was totally amazed at the variety of the southindian food there . I after scanning through the menu ordered masala idlis, crisp cheese idlis and masala dosa.
It tasted very good specially the cheese idlis it was my first experience and was very good . Special mention sambar is not sweet but masaledaar which is very good .
The service:
It took almost 40 minutes for my food to find its way to my table which is very bad considering I had ordered only minimal and it was weekdays where we have few traffic.
But after the food u can indulge in the paans which is a very famous attraction here . .
A special mention for the food presentation which is is unique and looks good .
I must say it is overprized in comperison to others so would recommend this place only if you dont have any other choice .
