Hospital is badly managed, worst doctors especially Dr MAHESH SHANMUGAM, Interested in making money.My mother lost her eyesight after undergoing surgery under him even after paying about 40000 for the surgery. we have to endure all the pain and difficulty in commuting to the hospital and made to wait for hours together for treatment. Even in case of emergency the don’t give appointments and inform that the doctor is busy or out of station.They advise to consult the junior doctors who are good for nothing fellows like the chief Dr Mahesh Shanmugam. He wrongly diagnosed the case and advised to undergo surgery and informed us that is doing surgery to remove a hemorrhage and after wards told that he did the surgery for retinal detachment. He was recommended by us by her wife Dr Lakshmi Mahesh, doctor at Manipal. She advised us to rush to sankara to save the eyesight.But instead of saving the eyesight he worsened it by doing surgery. After the surgery when we asked for case report they never provided with one and always told that they are making a summary of the report thereby delaying the process of having a second opinion and worsening the case.It is learnt that he did the surgery through his assistant thereby experimenting with the sight of a 70 year old lady. SO MY ADVISE don’t go to him if you want your eyesight good.
