Visited sankara nethralaya yesterday for my mother’s eye checkup at pycroft road centre. The staff was very professional.The place is neat & clean. The washrooms are also well maintained. All formalities were completed without any delay & the eye checkup process began. The consultation with the cataract specialist went of smoothly & she suggested changes in specs power & confirmed cataract in both the eyes. The doctors are well qualified & one of the best in India.The specialist also suggested cornea testing at College road branch. The staff at college road branch was also very polite & helpful. The cornea specialist checked & confirmed there is no issue but suggested a further test for 1500 inr. Now my only point is if things are okay then why go in for further tests. The entire process got completed in 4.5 hours.
All the doctors are well qualified & well mannered
Since this is a charitable organization started in the name of the great’Adi Shankaracharya’ I feel the doctors should be a bit more straightforward & give reason instead of piling up the tests. This way patients would not have any apprehension & can decide about further course of action.
