Whenever we hear the names of Santa & Banta, we mean jokes that make us laugh. So, I was watching this movie to laugh at some new jokes, but it disappointed me totally. First of all, the pair of Vir Das & Boman Iranim as Santa-Banta did not look good together & whatever they speak to make people laugh, it doesn’t work at all.
Sanjay Mishra is a very good comedian but no punches were available for him in his dialogue in the movie. Yes, some scenes of Johny Liver are very funny to some extent. His character as a Nepali Bahadur is a funny one. The role of two actresses is also poor. Ram Kapoor in negative role does not put the power impression.
The story is that Santa & Banta are both Sardars living in a village with no work to do, then an agent of crime branch sends both of them to a foreign country to solve a mission but they do nothing instead of their own entertainment.
The whole movie concept is very poor according to me. Story writing & movie direction both are very weak. Songs of movie are not good as well. I will not watch this movie again neither I recommend anybody to watch it. I just give it 3 out of 10.
