Sapnay is the hindi version of ’’Minsara Kanavu’’. Story is a typical masala flick but it’s very interesting to watch thanks to Rajiv Menon’s direction.
I have seen the film years ago, so I can’t recollect so much about the scenes, But what remained in my memory is Kajol’s superlative performance. It was like a breathe in fresh air to see Kajol in Tamil Film, she has an undeniable screen presence as well.
She is truly the finest actress of her generation. Arvind Swamy & choreographer Prabhu Deva are also great but is reglected to backseat because this enterprise is totally dominated by Kajol. A.R.Rahman’s spellbinding music gives warmth to the film’s finest moments like Spontaneous choreography of Ek bagiya mein to the visual delight of Aawara Bhawara. All over Sapnay is a good film but what u can take home is Kajol’s performance , music & few interesting moments
