Saras..Bhai Ekdum Sarras....

No sooner does the title track of Sarabhai v/s Sarabhai be heard on T.V., my 4 year old daughter just gives up everything she does and is glued to the T.V. The story is the same also with all the others in the family.

In India comedy serials are very loud with so much canned laughter and they always end up irritating us rather than giving us a laugh. Of course there are a few exceptions. Yeh Jo hai zindagi, Zabaan sambal ke, office office, Dekh Bhai dekh and some more always gave us a good laugh.

Indravadan (Satish Shah) a part of the first comedy serial on T.V.(Yeh Jo hai zindagi), who did hilarious cameos in each episode still continues to make us hold our bellies. Maya(Ratna Pathak Shah) is superb and her comic timing is excellent. She has completely transformed the bahu-bashing saas. She does it(bahu-bashing) in an unique and unheard pattern which leaves us laughing our hearts out. Saahil is more of a sober character in comparison to the others but the performance is of a very high standard. What more can I say of Roshesh but Whoooopeeeee.... His the punching bag and at the receiving end of most jokes and lives up to the character very convincingly. Now personally I feel that the real star of the show is Monisha. She is one person who can give stupidity a new dimension with her weird questions and illogical answers.

The timings have changed from Mondays 9.00 pm to Friday 8.30 pm. But the entertainment still remains the same.

On the negative side I felt that some episodes have a non-convincing end and you feel that it could have been better.

In any case the point is that there scope for improvement but nevertheless hats of the producer and director along with acting crew for giving us a good dose of Laughter every week.   Please keep the good work going.
