I have been to Saravana Selvarathnam Stores in T Nagar Chennai several times. They have only one lift. There is so much crowd that it takes a lot of time getting on to the lift. One has to wait for atleast half an hour.So this is not a place for quick shopping. Totally there are around 7 floors in this mega shop.The various shopping sections are not clearly labeled. In some of the sections the goods are just scattered around. So a lot of time is spent searching. In my case I was shopping for a yoga mat . The sales girls/boys are also not very responsive & helpful .My repeated requests went unanswered. Cannot be that majority of their staff is deaf. I spent a lot of time searching & finally one of the sales girls took pity & directed me to the right section.
Once I had my mother who is over 75 yrs with me. I requested them to have my mother seated but they could not find a place.
Shop might have plenty of stuff but support staff is not well trained.Staff should also be trained to be more polite. This will help improve customer satisfaction.
