The Omung Kumar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Randeep Hooda starer flick is a biopic on the controversial prisoner of India in Pakistan called Sarabjit singh. Sarabjit singh was arrested in Pakistan after three months of Lahore blast but Sarabjit always denied and said that he was a farmer of a village which situated at border of Pakistan and India.
Although Sarabjit was always a controversial prisoner so Pakistan government never give him condemned for hang till death. There were some unofficial sources also said that Sarabjit was a spy of RAW of India, who works for an under cover agent in Pakistan. However he was married to Sukhpreet Kaur and had two daughters Swapandeep and Poonam Kaur.
His sister Dalbir Kaur always fight for him to rescue from Pakistan but her trying never got success as Sarabjit got died due to attack by some co prisoners in prison. In this film Randeep Hooda is playing the role of Sarabjit, Aishwarya is playing the role of Sarabjit’s sister Dalbir Kaur and Richa Chaddha is playing the role of Sarabjit’s wife.
