Are you kidding me, It's Great?

If there is one CD you need to buy it is this one. All the songs are excellent.

They are

1) Zindagi Maut na Ban Jaaye

2)Hosh waalon Ko khabar Kya

3)Is Deewane ladke Ko

4)Jo Haal Dil Ka

5)Yeh jawaani Had kar De

6)Mere raaton Ke Neendein

1) I will refer to them by numbers for my convenience. The film begins with that soul searching Qawali in which the Sandese Aaten hain team of Sonu Nigam and Roop Kumar Rathod get together. This song is one of the most soul searching songs ever heard. It generates that warm feeling of patriotism that we feel when we sing the national anthem twice a year.

2) Jagjit Singh’s voice is amazing. When he sings, I feel as if I am a music instrument and somebody is playing me. He has that deep soulful voice which no other Indian singer has. Whether it is Tum Itna Jo Muskura Rahe Ho OR Honthon Se Chulo Tum. Here he sings an excellent song, with meaningful and rich Urdu https://lyrics. You have to hear it to get addicted to it. I make it a point to listen to it at least once in a week. More than that would spoil the euphoria that you experience.

3) Is Dewaane Ladke Ko is that wonderful romantic cum comedy type of song sung by Alka Yagnik which his melodious and hummable to say the least. It is what you call a regular good Hindi film Song.

4) Jo Haal Dil Ka, believe it or not may be the first Hindi film Rock Song of all times. If you listen carefully, there is that rock guitar which plays just when the lyrics go. The bass continues in the background for the entire song. This is what you would call a ROCK Song per se. Actually this aspect was first revealed to me by friend who writes by the name of the saurabhvs on this site. I am sure he will concur. Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik are the singers.

5) This is a typical club song sung at those clubs with women in few clothes. The beat, the lyrics and music bear testimony to the facts. Kavita Krishnamurty lends her voice to this song and does a pretty darn good job of it.

6) This is a typical Rajasthani folk based song again sung by Alka Yagnik. It is one of those entertainment and dance numbers. It is a good song too.

So as you can see, you have a Qawali, a Ghazal, a Rock Song, A regular Film song, A fast paced club song and a folk based song. This is as good as it gets as far as variety is concerned.

All of you should certainly buy it or at least download the songs using AG Satellite.
