*Assuming that I was RGV, I would have added some raunchy bedroom scenes between Abhishek and ASH to spice up the movie. Being real life husband and wife, they should not have had any qualms about it. Of course they too could have demanded their pound of flesh for the scenes or they could have added duplicates.
Now coming back to the plot of the movie which is a blend of godfather and close semblence to SENA chief, with a little bit of twist. The political drama is beautifully unraveled in the movie. The dress of ASH is left much to be desired. She should have been sporting a skirt like Rebecca of Enron.
Here the don family is shown to be clean, without taking any cut from the investors which is totally unbelievable. Why should a money making Don ignore an opportunity to make commission is a big mystery. The intention of the director to show Don in good light is taken beyond imagination.
RGV seems to have recovered from the shock of AAG, a talented director wasted his time and energy in making a cheap copy of SHOLAY. I hope he has learnt his lessons the hard way.
Overall the villaneous actors looked too good in their acting. The acting of ASH was below par, AB has really taken off. Abhishek had a limited role but I think it was wonderfully executed. Rao and Shibus role was wonderfully potrayed. Victor Banerjee as villaneous industrialist was well conceived. The elimination of people have been cut. RGV missed the main theme of elimination of enemies in style. How he vanquishes his enemies is partly shown. He should have shown elimination of Shibu and Victor Banerjee by hiring professional killers.
Overall to make a movie without song and dance and to keep the interest of the viewers, the movie has gone a long way. I liked the background score which is main attraction of the movie.*
