I happened to see Saroja recently. After watching the trailers and hearing about the movie I had very great expectation and was, should I say utterly disappointed. The movie started with an unwanted song - may be wanted for the or for Yuvans sake. After some fresh scenes with the crazy boys it moves to national highway. When the old dilapidated factory is shown the movie becomes very dark literally. even with torches in our hands we are not able to see the faces of the characters clearly. And this goes on till the end.
The+ es - great natural acting by the actors, music score though sometimes not needed, camera
But the big negative point is it is totally dark throughout. If venkat Prabhu and crew saw this picture unbiasedly they will agree my point. Yes the movie is set at night and there will be no light but except for sound here and there we are not able see any faces just shadows running from here to there.
Jairam can not be a villain period. His face is too soft for that. That twist is unneeded and also the captions about each bad guys after the movie. Prakash Raj is wonderful but his wife(Amirta?) is a waste. All the boys are perfect and Vega too
The song in which all the Tele artists dance is not original as it is already shown in OSO with movie actors. Venkat can just expand his creativity further and give a better movie next time
