I completed my engineering from computer engineering faculty of SCET, about 3 years back.
I would prefer it to call it college and not a engineering school (like most of other colleges of gujarat, where faculties turn students into dumb book warms)
This college has got very good lab setup, its in the live and let live kinda area! Very good location. Once you enter in the campus, you just forget everything else and zest takes over the mind!!
The faculty is good, I want rank them the best, but can be worked out. If student has got guts and want to earn glory then no one can here stop you! The true sense of competition.
The best part is the cutting edge course. All the branches has got latest technology in curriculam. Many of pass out found MS in USA in any stream just like a revision course of BE/BTECH.
The annual event of the college is ranked as top most in all over gujarat. All faculty ppl take active participation to celebrate the youthism.
In present situation of Gujarat Technical education board, I think the college sits on top 3 positions. Still after 5 years of last course revision, no one else has beaten SCET in technology curriculum area.
The college is surrounded by 4 other colleges but has got altother stand alone identity and it runs many other active organization.
College’s faculty of architecture has started enviorment engg. faculty as other body itself, and its nicely organized and getting widely accepted all over.
The advantage college recieves is the industry support. Most of the business houses are linked with the college and they provide active support to the college, which other colleges lacks off.
I would recommend it for the zest ful learner, who want to build things by own in healthy environment.
