I am a sify I way franchisee and would suggest that dont be an Iway franchisee, the charge 30% for giving you 256 kbps for every pc. 30%? yes, means if you charge 30 per hour, around 9 Rs go to sify and with rest 21 per hour you have to make the ends meet.
lets calculate it:
suppose you have a setup of 6 computers, running 11 hours a day. average pc occupancy 4 persons at one time. so that makes 21 X 4X 11= Rs. 924 per day.
means Rs. 27720 per month
now the expenses
rent(average city) Rs. 6000/-
staff salary Rs. 3000/-+ your own efforts 11 hrs/ day
sweeper/ boy Rs. 2000/-
electricty Rs. 4000/-(AC must in cafes now)
maintenance Rs. 2000/-(UPS batteries, mouse keyboard/ headphones etc)
Generator fuel Rs. 2000/-( we are in india isn’t it)
= Rs. 19000/- per month
net we earn= 27720-19000=8720/-
with investment and working like a dog without any leave a franchisee earns Rs 9000/- per month hahaha
then you cant allow your frnds/ known ones to surf. every now and then some office from sales tax/ income tax/ police wallahs son/ daughter asksk you to let him surf and you ahve to pay from your own pocket
