Hey Friends, after a long period finally got some time to write something on MS. And now I am writing on one of my favorite show “Satyamev Jayate”. I know it’s too late but I couldn’t stop myself to write on this show. However it has been ended last Sunday but it will always be alive in our Hearts. It was one of its kind show. A show which has left a great impact on our hearts and mind, a show which has made us cry, a show which has enforced us to think for our current situation, a show which has showed many hair raising real stories and experiences and a show which has become a great inspiration to do something for our society and people.
Plot:
As you all know that it was a reality show so it’s plot was also inspired from reality of our people, society and of our Nation. There is no any other show and I think never will be like Satyamev Jayate”. It’s main plot was the basic problems of our society like Female Infanticide, Dowry system, Boozing, Child sexual abused, Medical problems, Domestic violence, Untocuhability, Organic farming, Water Problem, Troubles in senior citizen’s life, Rights in Indian Constitution and many more, which we easily and many a times ignored even if we know that ignorance could not solve this problem. We all know and regularly came to know about these problems through our own or our dear one’s experiences or by News on TV or in newspapers or by local news but what do we do about them ? Nothing ! We just do gossips and left it as it is. Can just our talking do something ? Can it solve these problems ? And the answer is NO. Through this show we all came to know that where we stand now in our social life. What we are doing now and what should we do for the betterment of human beings. Many a people shared their so personal experiences with us that nobody could stop their tears while watching those moments. I remember one dialogue from “Rang De Basanti” – “Logon ko jagane ke liye kabhi-kabhi ek dhamaake ki jarurat hoti hai” and here Satyamev Jayate works like a “Dhamaka”.
Host:
The host of this show is one whom we never see in Film Awards function but when it comes to dedicate some moments to Maharashtra Police Deptt. He always shows his presence there. He is like an ideal in film industry. He always teach us in many ways - through his films, through his adds and now through his first time presence on Indian Television program Satyamev Jayate. He is none other than Aamir Khan.
His way of presenting each and every situation & problem is so incredible. That was the first time that he hosted any show on TV and that too which was one of it’s kind and has left a great impact on us. He hosted it with so simply and so affectively that during a survey he has become the most favorite host among people. It seemed in every episode of the show that he himself was involved in all those conversations with people. He got so much connected with them and their problems that he couldn’t stop his tears during the show. Truly he proved his mettle once again through this show. Salute to him for choosing this show only as a host.
Impact of the Show:
This show has left a great impact. From the very 1st episode to the last episode it has never lost its charm among the audience. Every news channel was talking about this show and about its impacts. People became aware of their surroundings and problems. Everybody has booked their one and half hour for this show. Govt. has also made some new laws. People learned so many things from this show and I hope many of them would apply them in their whole life and would also do something for the people who are in need for their help, love and affection.
Pros.:
There are so many things which are the main features of this show. The best thing according to me was that it was telecasted on Doordarshan, also so that it can reach each & everybody. Its message can be spread into the whole nation from a big city to a small village.
Second good thing was its time and day i.e. every Sunday on 11 AM. They chose the best time to telecast it so that everybody could watch this without any problem.
Another one was that it was telecasted in 7 different languages throughout the India like Hindi, English, Bengali, Malyalam, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu which adds one more positive point to this show.
Forth one was that it was a family show.
Fifth one was that it worked like an eye opener for us. This program showed us our current situation.
It telecasted 13 episodes till now and every episode was so incredible, so touched, so inspirational. This program has now been ended and I am going to miss this show a lot.
Now our Sundays will not be the same because it has been ended with a great show but as Aamir Khan said that “it’s not the end..it is the starting”.
I hope that now everybody will surely do something for others and I will also do something for children as I want to do something for children from a long time back. I hope God will give me enough strength so that I can fulfill my wish for my inner satisfaction.
