The man who made the life of spinners and fast bowlers lot tougher , to come to terms with.
With all this characteristics any player would have been a country’s most favourite sports man.
It is definitely not the case with sourav for now atleast.
He has been vilified by almost everyone.
He was the man behind the great transformation of INDIAN CRICKET TEAM , from a very ordinary side to the point where experts believed that it was the only team that could challenge and defeat australia .The transformation was a great one for

If people today talk about youngsters been given a fair run before they are dropped or continued , based on their performance, it has to be because of sourav.
It is a known fact that before sourav took over the reins of INDIAN CRICKET TEAM as the captain youngsters were never given a chance to prove their ability.
Had bhajji, zaheer, yuvi and kaif made their debuts under someone else I dont think they would have come so far.

I am not sure if any other cricketer in world cricket plays the game with more passion .and if all these things do not mean much and if only facts and stats matter.
