So Weve already seen the result of what happens when we take out Saurav Ganguly from the team.I dont mean that he should be there with India the rest of his life. But today when India lost out to Pakistan in such a bad condition....ooh! I agree we were losing some matches, but the decisions in the matches were quite appropriate as compared to those made today.
First of all, the decision for batting first, according to me, was not at all good.We all knew that it was a bowling pitch.
Then the top and middle order was cracked down.Luckily we had Dravid and Kaif who saved the match.
However it was really amazing to see Afridi crack down 9 fours and 9 sixes. It was amazing!
Why wasnt Tendulkar brought to the bowling attack?
Infact Dinesh Mongia had been brought which wasnt a good decision at all, because, Sachin is a much much more experienced bowler than Dinesh.
I agree to one fact that being a captain Dravid played quite well...just that his decisions were wrong.
On the other hand, when we had Ganguly, he could take the decisions. And the way people are blaming him today is sad.
Everyone has his own ups and downs.
When sachin was made the captain, and when he couldnt do well for his team, why wasnt this type of issue raised then?
Or was it that he is the worlds best batsmen - so we cant blame him?!
Im not trying to put the blame on Sachin or Dravid or any other player but just trying to prove that Ganguly is fit to be the captain.
Just by flook he couldnt have got the most successful Indian cricket captain title or also the Prince of Kolkatta title, or we may say the Bengal tiger. He is losing his confidence.Just that he needs some support and time to prove his ability again.
Why are the selectors keen to keep ganguly as the captain? There must be some reason behind this.I mean , even they would be knowing about Ganguly much well.
Why did the BCCI and The CM appeal against the ban on ganguly for 6 matches?
Just for the simple reason that he could lead India to a land of success.
And my friends, success doesnt come easily...you have to stuggle for it...which Ganguly is going through right now...!
